Porte Model and Talent Management Agency takes its name from the Porte family, whose remarkable journey from slavery on Barbados sugar plantations to freedom in Liberia through the American Colonization Society in 1865 is a testament to resilience and determination. The Porte family made a significant impact in Liberia, with Albert Porte becoming a pioneering political journalist and advocate for justice. Inspired by my ancestors' legacy of fighting against injustice and amplifying marginalized voices, Porte Agency was founded in December 2018 to represent those society has counted out.

Recognizing the persistent lack of diversity and inclusion in the modeling industry, I established Porte Agency with a mission to challenge the industry's status quo. Our goal is to curate a diverse model and talent roster that serves as a powerful example of why representation matters. Embracing individuals from all backgrounds, creeds, and beliefs, Porte Agency seeks to redefine the standard of beauty by celebrating the uniqueness of every individual.

We extend our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and advocacy to our sports division as well.
